About Us

Welcome to the Icknield Primary School, part of Anglian Learning. Located in the village of Sawston, Cambridgeshire, Icknield offers a safe learning environment which will enable your child to thrive.

As the Headteacher for Icknield Primary School, I’m excited to be a part of the school’s journey on continuing to provide a strong education for our children. Building positive relationships with our children, their families, and the wider community is at the heart of everything we do.

Alongside providing an engaging curriculum in the classrooms, our school has a large outdoor space which includes a pond, polytunnel and forest area. We promote active and outdoor learning opportunities which teach the pupils to appreciate and learn about the surrounding natural environment.

We are a proud school that cares for each other and always shares best practice to ensure all pupils reach their full potential. We encourage prospective parents to get in touch as our door is always open for you to come and our school.
