Key Weekly Information
The classroom door will open from 8:40am each morning and children must be in the classroom and ready to learn by 8:50am. The school day will end at 3:20pm.

Badgers Class has two weekly sessions of PE taught: on  Wednesdays and  Friday.  Please ensure full PE kits are brought in to school on  both days.

Homework
Each Monday homework will be provided which will consist of:

• A Maths task
• A Grammar task
• Reading
• five focus spellings from year 5/6 national curriculum spelling list

We will be marking homework on Monday morning so please remember to return the homework books prior to this.

Learning

In year 5, we learn about different topics such as Oceans, Vikings and Earth and space. Please read our curriculum letter to parents for more detail.
