In the first week of March we had a very busy and interesting time in school with many visitors coming in to talk to the pupils about their careers.  A representative from Redrow Homes came in to talk about building houses, while other visitors included a plumber and a Geospatial professional from Ordnance Survey who visited us via a TEAMS link. He showed Year 4 and 6 how he created a map of the moon and we discussed the different types of symbols used on maps.  The Fire Brigade made a surprise visit to KS1 on the Thursday afternoon. The children were very excited about this visit and were able to climb aboard the engine and explore. Anglian Learning Trust’s Marketing Manager, Red Graphic (website designers) and Premier Education also gave up their time to come and talk to the children.
