School Day

Our School Day

Each day (8:50am-3:20pm) is 6.5 hours which is a total of 32.5 hours in a week.

TIME
8.40am	School gates open, early morning learning begins
8:50am	School gates close and registration is completed
8:50am to 10:30am	Morning lessons begin
10.30am to 10.45pm	Break time for Years R, 1, 2, 3 and 4
10.45am to 11.00pm	Break time for Years 5 and 6
10:45/11:00 am to 12:00pm	Morning lessons continue
12.00pm to 1:00pm	Lunch time
1:00pm to 2:30pm	Afternoon session
2:30pm to 3:20pm	Afternoon session
3.20pm	End of the school day. School gates will open at this time and close by 3:30pm

DROP-OFF AND COLLECTION

At the beginning and end of the school day, parents are welcome into the playground. Written permission must be provided from parents if they wish for their child in Year 5 and 6 to walk home.

If the arrangement for your child’s collection at home time needs to be altered, please inform the school office.

Any child who is not collected by the named adult on the child’s collection list at the end of the school day will be taken to the school office by the teacher to wait in the reception area. The office staff will then contact the parents or carers. Please note all named people on the collection list must be at least 16 years old.
