Innovate School Meals
Innovate is the company employed by Anglian Learning to provide our school lunches. Innovate aim to work with The Icknield Primary School to provide an exceptional catering experience and become a valued part of our school community.
Our lunchtime food provides:
- Nutritious daily hot main meals
- A variety of food choices to select from over a three week menu
- A menu that fully meets the Government’s Nutritional Standards
- Local, fresh and seasonal ingredients
- Exciting theme days
Fresh food is prepared and cooked in The Icknield Primary School kitchen with menus that our children enjoy to eat. Innovate serve favourite foods while also introducing some exciting twists and dishes so that our children can explore new foods and broaden their culinary horizons. If your child has a dietary requirement, please ensure this is noted when you register your child’s lunch or email primary@impactfood.co.uk if you have any queries regarding your child’s dietary needs.
How to order your child’s school meal
To create an account please log on here. Please see the guidance in the Downloads section of this page for creating an account and selecting meal choices.
All orders for the following week must be placed on the system by midnight on Saturday. If you pay for your child’s meals, payment for the following week’s meals must also be made on Saturday by midnight. If there are insufficient funds on your account you will be sent a top up reminder email on Thursday afternoon. If no payment is received, meals will be cancelled on Saturday at midnight.
Meals cost £2.60. Reception, Year 1 and 2 children are all eligible for Universal Infant Free School Meals.

As part of our Healthy Eating policy, all children will be offered water to drink in the dining hall.
If you prefer your child to have a packed lunch, we ask that you try to prepare a healthy lunch.
